Just being extra careful about hand washing, making sure before play dates that all the kids and parents are well and now that it is colder I can make James wear his mittens in the store without looking crazy lmao!

We don't go out a lot and when we go shopping I wipe down the cart handles or use a cover. I also always carry hand sanitizer and Will loves having his hands squirted with it so we use that a lot.

Well I have never gotten a flu shot. I just use sanitizer and a shopping cart cover.
I will get the kids the reg. flu shot but not the swine. So I think I will just be extra careful when taking them out in public and playgroups.

Trevor and I will be getting the regular flu shot but my girls won't be getting anything. Everything everyone has said is what we plan to do and I will avoid going to large places like the Children's Museum and places where it would just be a germ fest.

i just got the flu shot yesterday and i think DH plans on getting one. i really want brandon to get one cause of the new baby in the house. jack won't be getting one this year because of his egg allergy. they can test him for one but it sounds really torturous and i'm not gonna do it to him. we'll be using shopping cart covers and we use sanitizer every time we get in the car. i make brandon change all his clothes when he gets home from preschool. i'm really more paranoid about him bringing it home from school.

The kids are taking an Immune Booster vitamin, plus a D3 vitamin, drinking milk, washing hands like crazy, etc. Mason is getting one of his fevers right now so he'll stay home from school tomorrow since his immune system won't be at it's best.

The girls are getting the regualr flu shot today but I had no plans to get the H1N1 vax...until a case of N1H1 was confirmed at Alex's (the boy I watch) preschool this week (different class, same days/time of the week). Now I am so torn. That is so 'close to home' and I would hate for them to get H1N1 but I also hate that the shot is so new. Right now the girls are taking mega doses of Vitamin D and drinking lots of milk, I still have not decided about the H1N1 vax...I am so conflicted!!!
