OK so last night I posted on my FB that I was annoyed at my neighbor who came over at almost midnight and asked to use my phone.. I had previously told them that if there was ever an emergency to knock on my door and I wouldn't mind. His wife is due beginning of April.. Anywho he came over and knocked and asked where my DH was I said he had to work, he said do you mind if I borrow your phone. So I said ok. Well after 10 mins he couldn't get ahold of who he was trying to so he said is it ok if I come back in 5 or 10 min so I can try again.. I said well I am getting ready for bed but if it is just then that is fine.. Well he never showed up so I locked up and got ready for bed and fell asleep.. At 1 am I here a bang on my door.. The puppy gets up and runs to the door and starts to bark.. I look at the window it is him again.. I went ahead opened the door thinking maybe something happened with his wife, and he asks if he can call the numbers again.. I am so nice and can't be mean that I said ok but make it quick cause I was sleeping... Well this just a few mins ago I was talking to his wife, and I said was your man on something.. She said I don't know he was acting weird.. I said well he came and knocked on my door at almost midnight and one asking to use the phone. I said now you guys know I don't mind but I don't like the loud knocks that will wake my son up, and I don't appreciate being told he will come back in 10 mins when he knew I was going to bed and then him come back an hour later. I told her I wasn't going to answer at first but I thought maybe something happened with her.. She apologized to me about it, and I fore warned her that my DH would be talking to her man about it cause he didn't appreciate it.. Well a few mins ago a sheriff pulled up asking for her.. She went over and she turned around just bawling.. I don't know the whole story but apparently her man just got arrested and is going to jail.. So now I feel like crap.. I should be over there comforting her, but our other neighbor whose son was with her man is there.... Was I wrong to say something about her man banging on my door late at night? I just feel horrible right now.. She is big pregnant and he was the only provider..

I wouldn't feel bad, it had nothing to do with him being arrested. It is inappropriate to knock on someones door that late.
I'd tell her I was sorry about her DH but I wouldn't appologize for telling her he knocked so late.

Yeah I agree with Paula. It's not your fault, and I wouldn't apologize... Even though it's sad, they obviously have problems.

I talked to her lastnight.. I found out what all happened and why he was arrested.. He is being sent back to New York for a warrant, and she is moving Thurs to CA to be with her family.. Elijah is going to be heartbroken.. She understood and said she wasn't upset that I didn't come over to comfort her. She was out of it she said.. She isn't mad about me talking to her about her DH either she said she would've been alot meaner if she was me..LOL
