Thanks Jenny! In 12 hours I will literally be under the knife. Kinda freaky.

Today was an odd day, I was really sad, actually. I know tomorrow will be a whole different story.

I'm taking my laptop & phone so I'll be able to update from the hospital. Anyone who sees posts I make on Facebook is welcome to copy them here (it's easier for me to post to FB than here)

I took a sleeping pill so I'm heading to bed. The next time I post Xander will be a big brother!

Anyone heard an update? I've been checking her FB. Little Shayla has to be here by now! anxious

as soon as I typed that she updated FB:

"Hi everyone! Shayla Rayn was born at 11:41 am (I think) and was a little chunker at 8 lbs 1 oz. We are both fine but she is having a little trouble w/ fluid buildup so she's in the nursery right now. She should be back w/ me in a couple hours we hope. Thanks for all the messages!"
