We took the kids to see Toy Story 3 when it first came out and Dylan LOVED it. He's been to the theater many times now and usually does good.

I really wanted to take Gracie to Toy Story 3, but we only had the 3D version here in town and I didn't want to risk going to that because my husband gets sick at 3D stuff sometimes. They have it playing in another town nearby, non 3D, but we haven't had a chance to go to it. We'll probably just get the blu-ray the day it is out. I do want to take Gracie to a movie sometime soon though.

Angie, the 3D doesn't LOOK 3D if you don't wear the glasses. It's the new high quality 3D, no orange tinges around the characters or anything, just a normal movie without the glasses.

We took the girls to see TS3 and Em LOVED it!!
Haven't seen Despicable me.

We saw Despicable Me and Tanith did really well. We're going to see Toy Story 3 on Saturday. I don't know if your theater has it, but 2 of our theaters here do free weekly summer movies for kids. It might be a good way to go for a first movie, so that if you have to leave you aren't out any money. They do past movies, like this week at one is Aliens in the Attic and the other is Madagascar.

We took Ben to see TS3 and that was the first time he saw a movie in the theater. He did okay through some of it but then he wanted to go but then he got involved in the movie again and then he wanted to go again!

Our theater does free movies 2x a week too. Maybe I'll take him this week and see how he does this time.
