Not so much for our LO's but yummy for the adults.
6 jalapenos (will make 1 dozen, you can always make more)
blue cheese crumbles
olive oil
Cut the jalapenos in half, long ways. Clean out the insides and the seeds. Or you can leave in a few seeds if you prefer HOT stuff!
Cut off the stems from the jalapenos.
In a frying pan heat up olive oil, just enough to cover the bottom of the pan.
Place the jalapenos in the pan open side up.
Let them brown, for about 3-5 minutes.
Remove from the pan and place on a cookie sheet.
Top the jalapenos with blue cheese crumbles. Not a lot, but enough to fill them up.
Place in the oven for about 10 minutes.
Remove from the oven and place in the broiler for about 2-4 minutes, just enough time to let the cheese brown.
Remove from the broiler and ENJOY!
I am not a big blue cheese fan, and most people who have tried these aren't either, but they and I agree they do not taste like blue cheese AT ALL! They just taste really really good!!!
