the WHY?????? stage? OMG. I think some days, I will go NUTS! Joel does this many, many times in a day. The one I can remember from today, "Mommy, why are we going this way?" (driving home) "Because this road leads to home... "why??????" 30 more times. UG! I am going nuts! Me: Ok kids, time for lunch. Joel: Why??????? X30!

I was looking into doing a cross stitch sampler for our new home. I love doing them and haven't done one in several years. I found one that I just have to do. It has three kids, back to with their arms around each other and flower filled thought bubbles above them. Above it it says "You know your children are growing up...." Then below ".... when they start asking questions that have answers." SO true!

Oh yeah, Emily has been doing this for quite awhile. EVERYTHING is WHY? And I answer and then they keep coming so it always ends with, Why not?, and with that she lets it rest. LOL

If I say "why not?" I STILL get the "but WHY?" UG! He is just too funny. DD went through this too, but not as bad. When Joel is around, 90% of my time is answering WHY questions! LOL!

I don't have a problem with the way, but I do have a problem with him repeating everything over and over and over again till I say exactly what he was saying.. It is hard when I don't know what he is saying, and so I can't get it..

Ugh Ben has been in the why stage before. I've told my husband it's like being interrogated about 12 hours a day. The questions never stop and everything is why why why. I've actually resorted to saying "because I said so." That's one I never wanted to say but the kid completely wore me down!

Emily does this too. When I ask her why she did something, she answers "Because I did".

And Susan, I've said "Because I said so" MANY times. It gets to a point where it's say it or drown myself.
