I only listen to music in the car, not at home. Since DH usually drives when we go anywhere he usually controls the music He listens to a lot of stuff, and half the stuff I have never heard of.
On my own I usually listen to country or a more 'adult' version of Top 40. I like a lot of 80's and 90's music, too.
X doesn't generally care too much about what music is playing...sometimes he'll groove to it. Now that we have the van with the DVD player he is usually watching Thomas.
Marcus loves hiphop. He'll sing his little heart out to katy perry and lady gaga. If he knows the song, he'll sing it though. He's not picky about music at all
We listen to all kinds of music, we have the best of sirus/xm because where we live there are seriously 10 country stations, one oldies and two classic rock stations. THAT IS IT. Usually we have it on 20's on 20 or 90's on 9, sometimes I'll put it on the highway, blend or hair nation. Abby knows bits and pieces of everything. Like Marcus she loves some Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Usher and Justin Bieber. For the longest time when we got in the truck it was "mama put it on Baby Ohhh!".

The kids listen to whatever I listen to....but I also play kids' songs for them too.
Love songs that we can sing a long to easily or act out......makes for fun car rides.

The kids just listen to whatever I listen to in the car. Usually it's country, but lately it's been christmas music Allie will get upset sometimes if it is a slow song because she says she doesn't like "sad songs".
Maddie isn't too picky. She'll listen to what I listen to. I listen to R&B, Adult Contemporary, Rock, etc. She knows that Dave Matthews is my favorite:-) She likes Black Eyed Peas, "Boom, Boom, Boom." Right now we've been listening to Christmas music. And we have kids CDs too. There is one song on the CD in DH's car that works like a lullaby....puts her right to sleep. Makes bedtime easy if we've been out running errands.
I mostly listen to alternative/rock.. with a little punk and oldies thrown in. Holden is VERY particular about music. He will YELL at me in the car to stop on a certain (random) song because he wants to listen to it. His favs? Muse, Lady Antebellum, Lady gaga. Very widespread. We don't generally listen to kids music.. that crap makes me want to jump out a window. If we aren't listening to kids music, i'll sing it to him though. We sing the Special Agent Oso song together at least twice a day, lol. Usually he has similar taste to mine. He doesn't like many songs that I don't like. He requests strange things though. Kansas "Carry on my Wayward Son" is his favorite
