The dreaded day is back! We are heading into Boston to the Children's hospital for the repeat of the VCUG and U/S to check Leila's kidney reflux. Hopefully they will tell us it is gone.

I am worried that the procedure is going to throw potty training really off course. They basically hold the poor girl down while they insert a cath, fill up her bladder with special dye and wait for her to pee so they can take pics using an xray machine. It was so traumatic last time so I am dreading this time.

I will update when we are back. It will be a long day for sure!

UPDATE:
The procedures went UNBELIEVABLY easy and well! She is all clear!! No more prophylactic antibiotic and she will NOT have to repeat that awful procedure again unless she gets another UTI right away. I am so grateful for this!

She amazed me with how well she did! And having Ryan there too was so helpful. Last time since we had Owen with us he had to take him out to the waiting area. Her and I struggled through. This time Ryan was the one to come up with the distraction to get her through the procedure! WTG Dad is what I keep thinking because I felt like I was jumping through hoops for it! In any case, we are off to the museum today since it was too late after her 3 appts to take her yesterday.

I think we are going to take the T over to the science museum afterwords to soften the blow. At least then she has something to look forward to.

Beth she was sad yesterday but she was soooooo tired we didn't even get out of the city before she was out! Heck we didn't get down the road and around the corner before she was out! She was so done!
