I'm so sorry to hear about your friend Jess. That is just heartbreaking.

That is going to be such an awesome trip Cindy! I am looking forward to a kid free trip for our 10th anniversary next year. We are going to do spend a few days in San Francisco.

Both my kids have slept in our bed but I transition them out around 1. I haven't had any problem getting them out of our bed and when they are little it is easier for me to have them in bed with me. Alison is on night two of sleeping in her crib all night.

Sorry about your friend/fellow army family Jess

Is it Tony's "job" to do all the military funerals or does he volunteer for them? One of our friend's fiance is a army guy and he has never had to do a funeral yet, maybe they are just really lucky in this area and there are not many soldiers who die.

I'm pretty peeved at the stupid Honda company today. I paid them over the phone four days ago, guy tells me there will be a three dollar fee which they took out with the payment, and they today there is a 25.00 phone ebt charge. I called and the guy on the phone acts like it's never happened before and wanted a fax of it from the bank, so I went there and they didn't want to fax it because it has my info on it. Well DUH lady, blank out the account number and just leave the rest. The company OBVIOUSLY has my name and address and phone number already... Just waiting to see what happens, and if this guy doesn't call me back by tuesday I will just put in a dispute through the bank. $25.00 is a lot of money to me!

It was part of his job when we lived in NY, not here. He was attached to the reserve unit in NY (although he's active duty) and the reserve units are usually who are in charge of funerals. I'm not sure how the Army does it though since we're Marines. I'm so glad he doesn't have to do that here. It was pretty much every single weekend and it really took a toll on him.

I went grocery shopping, to Target, Walmart, Michaels, and the library... I'm DONE! Want to decompress with my bottle of wine but I guess I'll just settle for a glass since I have to run 7 mi in the morning, eep!

Jess so sorry about both families. That is such a hard thing. Glad she got to hear a name suggestion from him though. Surely that will help the baby and her...that daddy got to name the baby. Oh now I am boohooing. Soooo sad and preggo hormones combine to make this so sad for me.

Hope the boys are feeling better Stacy.

So done with being pregnant and I have soooo long to go. I turned 12 weeks 8 days ago and have thrown up all but 2 days of those 8! I only threw up 3 times in the previous 12 altogether! Unreal annoying! Also, I spent all day today cleaning to make up for all these weeks that I have not been able to keep caught up because of school work and I still am not caught up!!

Jess, that all just breaks my heart! I think thats why I have always thought I couldnt handle a military husband bc you come in contact with so many people and the deaths can be common it seems. I dont do well with death. Makes me sick to my stomach for those wives. I just cant imagine.

Jen, sorry your sick! Make sure to drink alot of water! I got sick with all 3 but really bad with Carson. Once I got dehydrated it was like neverending tell I went in the hospital to get fluids. But that changed things and made me feel much better!

Yay for a new car Stacy!!

Jess, the cake pops are pretty easy. They were so good and turned out super cute. I posted pics on FB. But anyways a quick version of directions. Cook a cake, let it cool completely, crumble it into fine pieces, mix with 3/4 a container of frosting, roll into balls, place in fridge for several hours or freezer for about 15 mins so they are firm but not frozen, then dip the lollipop stick in the melted candy coating, put about 1/2 way into cake ball, then dip in candy coating and decorate however you want. Have you seen bakerellas blog? I got her book on them. The kids loved them! and they didnt make a huge mess which was nice

Yea I saw the pics that's why I was wondering. They look really cute! What is the link to that blog?

Sorry you're sick, Jen. I never had morning sickness that bad at all so I can't imagine. I know I'd be a big baby, especially with other kids to take care of.

Just ran 7 miles and feeling good!!

Oh Jenn, did you ever read what I said about running when you asked a few days ago? Are you going to try it?

Awesome on the running Jess!

Those cake pops looked awesome Jenn, I'm going to have to try that one day.

I hope the morning sickness goes away soon Jen.

We are having a nice day here today. I was up at six with Elizabeth. I think I'm finally used to getting up early and I really don't mind it. At 7 she wanted to make cookies so we did, lol. We went to the farmer's market and park this morning and have been home since. Rob has been working on the yard. He planted tomatoes and some flowers. I've been cleaning the house and relaxing.

So stupid fish guy called Rob this afternoon and picked him up at 5:30 and he's still gone 'helping' him with minnows... I'm sitting here bored waiting for him to get back so we can have dinner. Thankfully the neighbor fed the older kids, and the little kids were fine with peanut butter sandwich and chips or they ALL would have had peanut butter sandwiches for dinner. I guess I wouldn't mind so much if they actually paid him in a timely manner.

Thanks ladies. I just hope it passes soon. I probably do need to up the water Jenn...I need to remember that that does help.

7 miles is awesome Jess! Well on your way to marathon!

So early Cara but I am sure you get a lot done that way.

I think I will be making those for Owen's birthday Jenn! Sound yummy and fun!

That stinks Beth.

So kids fell asleep at 8!! That is sooooo early for my kiddos! They didn't have a nap though and we played for awhile at the park. Poor exhausted kiddos! Owen just woke back up but I think he will be back down shortly. I hope at least!!

Feel better soon Jen!

I'm checking out girls. I'll be back at the end of the month. I'll be around on FB though since it's easy peasy to keep up with on the phone. Have a great 4th and great month!!

I know what you mean Jess. Luke spends about 70ercent of any day whining. He's almost never content. He can walk now but still insist we carry home around most of the day. Trav was a lot easier!! He's lucky he's so cute!

We did fireworks last night.. It was fun and now both kids are napping to make up for staying up late last night.

Hope everyone is having a Good 4th
