I did color guard for a few years, I was on the high school swim team for a year but then they got rid of the team. I was in FFA in high school for 4 years and I was in or involved with the school play for 3 years. I was also part of the Pep Squad which was a drug/alcohol prevention group. We went to younger schools to teach the kids about the dangers of drugs, alcohol, strangers, bullying and stuff like that. We also mentored other students in our high school. I did that for 4 years as well.
Oh I wish we had had a mentoring program like that, Susan! That sounds so awesome!
I did Girl Scouts for quite a while. All the way up to Junior in New Jersey. I regret quitting but when I moved to Texas, we did not do one single thing. Our troop leader was lazy, seriously :/ I did theater and choir in middle school and all the gamut of sports they put you through. I started choir in high school but only as a fish. Joined swimming as a sophomore in high school and stayed there until senior year.
