Rock had his 5 year check up last Friday.
First they wanted him to pee in a cup, that didn't happen.
Then they took him to get weighed (I think it was 37 lbs) and measured (41 inches, which was totally confusing since his preschool did monthly measurements and he started at 41 and ended at 42 and 3/4 inches...).
Then they took him to the eye chart. She flips the thing over and starts trying to explain the symbols, but Rock is like dancing around not listening to her, so I just said to her "He can do the letters." She was like "Really?" and I was like "Yeah, my 3 year old could do the letters, so I'm sure he can." She was like "I have 6 year olds who can't do the letters." To which I thought to myself, really, cuz I never meet those people...I meet the people who's 5 year old can read 3rd grade level books, I want to meet those people with 6 year olds who can't do the letters!
He did fine, read about 6 or 7 lines once he figured out how to hold still, and then just said "they're too small."
Then he got checked out by the doc.
Then he got 3 shots, he was so upset and hurt, my poor man.
