We started school here on the 20th. The first day was good until she came home she was so tired and cranky. She's doing good but she's wanting to be independent and it's hard on me lol, I drop her off in front of the school and they have teacher there to show them where to go and after school I pull up in front of the school and they call her name and she gets in the car. No naps, she was able to ride the bus on Friday and she loved it, I was a nervous wreck!!! I embarrassed her by writing I <3 Makena on her orange and she said we have to keep that between me and her because now the teacher and a kid that sat beside her know! Sorry if this is hard to read I have a cranky Josie on my lap lol
Bless her so grown up!! When rhianna first started she was always coming home cranky had such an attitude and fell asleep on the sofa by 5pm lol after a couple of months though she got used to it! Now she just comes home full of attitude !
Dylan is doing good. The first couple of days we were able to walk him in to his classroom but now we just have to drop off in the front and he isn't used to that yet. He has been giving me a little grief about getting out of the car at school so I'm hoping that gets better! He does seem to be enjoying it though, he has so many exciting things to tell me every afternoon.
Started yesterday and it's going well! Perfect drop off yesterday morning! He made it so easy. When he got out, he told me about his day but I had to pry it out of him. He actually tried the "I don't know" gig on me. Shot that down quickly haha. We're so not getting in that habit! Today I just walked him to the classroom door. He took care of handing in the paperwork and putting stuff away in his locker.
Rock started on the 22nd, he's doing well. He was having issues with going to the bathroom like way too often at school, but otherwise he's doing well. He really wants to have a play date with one of his class mates, but I don't know the kids mom so I can't arrange it. He's been tired of course, it is a new thing, he goes full-day so that's different than some of the classes.
