No. It can make labor longer and increases your risk of tearing. I am not willing to risk it I think I'll handle it pretty well.

Heck yes I am getting an epidural or spinal blocker or whatever they offer. Although this will be my 1st and I have not had either experience, I don't wanna find out what it will be like without it! I think I have watched too many birthing stories on Discovery Health to know what it's like to go without lol

I most certainly am. I am not good on pain and I think that for the wellfare of all those in the room and future kids with DH it is in my best interest.
