Ok i guess this will probably be classified as a bit of a vent but i need to find out if anyone else is the same.

I havent had actual morning sickness during my pregnancy but i have felt nauseous and some foods do make me be sick.

The main thing that is bugging me is i really want to eat healthily and make sure that my baby is getting all the correct nutrients from me but 'healthy' food generally turns my stomach. It feels like there is nothing i can eat at the moment that is good for either me or the baby and all i seem to be able to eat at the moment is junk food.

Main types of food i am eating at the moment that are semi healthy and i can keep down are cereals, toast, sandwiches etc.

Anything like lasagna, most cooked meats etc just make me ill.

Last night boyfriend cooked tea for us and it was delicious and i was delighted that i was able to eat it but then half way through i felt the urge to be sick and had to run to bathroom and proceeded to puke the whole lot back up.

Ime really getting depressed about this now as i want to eat properly

BF also yelled at me last night because of this and said i had to eat properly as ime going to make myself ill and that i have to eat properly for the baby.

but its not like i dont want to, i just cant physically stomach it. he just doesnt seem to understand what its like for me

Your doing fine. Cereal is good for you, as is toast and sandwhiches. You don't have to eat big meals to be healthy. Are you taking your PNs?
Right now, eat whatever you can keep down. You'll be just fine. Don't let your BF tell you otherwise. BF's and Dh's think they know OH so much about how we feel and what we need, but they don't have a clue.

Let your body dictate what you can handle right now and not your bf. You know what I had for dinner last night? A piece of dry toast and a glass of chocolate milk. I eat what I can manage to keep down and let the vitamins I'm taking give my baby the nutrients it needs right now.

I am, however, ready for the nausea to go. Mine has gone from morning to evening and I have puked every night this week. I threw up in my mom's yard last night.

I think in the first Trimester most of us are just greatful to get a few saltine crackers and a glass of milk down let alone anything else. Then worry about the healthy stuff later when our morning sickness is gone, and we feel somewhat human again.
From the sounds of it you are doing great! Don't worry about it for a few more weeks

You're doing just fine hun! I agree completly with Zoey. I cant keep much down either, i can't even stomach milk. As long as you're eating something and make sure to take ur PN"s the baby will get what it needs. Good luck!

I agree I think your doing fine. It's hard in the 1st trimester but I am sure it will get easier. I hope your bf relaxes & just supports you, it's tough being sick & pregnant.
