And not because it makes me sick to eat it... I just have no interest in eating! When I make myself something, I end up taking a few bites and throwing the rest away. I eat like a bird, it's pathetic really. Reading the sheet that came with my Prozac, it said it can cause loss of appetite, so I am wondering if that is what's going on now?
I guess I will just keep an eye on my weight, and if it doesn't move, or goes down, I'll call my doctor...
I feel that way some days too, but not every day. Sometimes I have no appetite. I have to force myself to eat and even then I eat very little. Nothing seems appealing. I don't feel sick, I just don't feel hungry. Then again some days I feel like I eat like a horse! Talk to the Dr because you want to make sure you and the baby are getting all of the nutrition you need.
Definitely an effect of the Prozac. Maybe try eating a little bit but more frequently so your tummy doesn't get empty and you get some nutrition. I'm sure you are fine as long as your getting something.
If your not hungry, you are probably fine.
I have no desire to eat, but I'm super hungry all the time so I eat anyway.
I've only been on the Prozac a few days, I outsmarted the drug and take it at night before bed, due to it causing drowsiness... It's just that since I started taking it, I have absolutely no interest in food! None! And that is odd for me, I love food.
I forced myself to eat this afternoon, I had an apple and some cheese slices... I'll force something down for dinner too, maybe a hamburger or something. It's just odd that I don't want the food at all. I feel no hunger. I've never had anything like this before!
As for how I am feeling, it's only been a few days, but I'm hoping it will bring me back up in spirits!
I'm not on prozac but I understand about the eating! I just had no appetite whatsoever and I just don't eat but that makes me throw up because I'm so hungry. Over the last two days I've been trying to eat something every two hours so I don't get naseous and it's working. It got to the point where my husband was getting very worried.
In your case you know what I would do especially because a few pounds wouldnt hurt me I would eat ANYTHING that came to mind as a good idea anything like you feel like you want a big hamburger go get it.. and maybe do that for a little while until your body adjusts
