...for a girl. (Too bad we think this is a boy!)

We're sitting here watching a episode of an anime show (yes, we're geeks, we watch anime), and one of the characters was name Rielle. Well, she spelled it Re-L, but whatever. We both really like it.

Plus, it turns out that Rielle is a type of iris. And Irises are my favorite flower.

No middle name or anything yet. It's so funny that we've been avoiding girl names and one suddenly manifests itself.

I can't wait until February to find out if Jelly is really a boy!

I typically am a traditional name fan, but I LOVE that name... It is hard to decide on a name isn't it??? I mean, they will have it forever!!! And it makes such an impact! But that name is so pretty!!! We have no girls names right now... The other name we chose when we were prego with my DD and didn't use was used by my SIL... so, now we are back to square one!

Brittanie, I thought I had.. but who knows, Preggo Brain My midwife said they are keeping my date on the 24th, because my LMP is usually so accurate... of course DH wanted it on the 19th (ultrasound said) since it's his b-day

You're in Rexburg, right? DH proposed to me at St. Anthony last year!

What a pretty name!

It is funny how a name just falls in your lap when you least expect it.

That is a beautiful name! I think it is easier to decide that a name is right when it just comes to you like that. It is certainly easier than trying to read through a bajillion names in a baby book!

That's sooo pretty! I love it! You can always save it for future children if you end up having a boy

Well.....i am not a traditional name lover lol and I DO like this name. It's different and I've never met nor heard of anyone with the name....im happy you found something unique and pretty! It sounds good as a child's name and will be professional for an adult.

I love it! We were considering the name Brielle, but it doesn't flow well with our last name.

I googled the name and the responses I got were all dutch. So, evidently it's a dutch name. I agree though, it's really pretty.

My dad says that the names they decided on first was a 100% predictor of the gender (and so does my grandfather). If the baby was a boy, they came up with a boy name but not a girl one. If the baby was a girl, the other way around.

So, who knows, maybe this is another girl.

But yes, Kelli, I think we will be saving it if Jelly is a boy.

It sounds like a good name, I can't wait until you find out what it is.

I have decided on two girl names but nobody agrees with me. Faith Renee and Distaney Chae. My sil said it sounds like a bad rock band. I was being metaphoacal, you know like it took Faith to get my distaney.

Well I am gonna keep working on that.

LOl not with us! With DD we were convinced it was a boy and had picked out a boy name... then we went to the u/s and they said it was a girl... LOL we had to start all over

I love it!

I hope a name just "comes" to me like that. And I hope I'm having a girl like I think...I've not considered one boy name.

Well, I like it Luci! lol. Renee is my middle name. Faith Renee would me "faith reborn." That's cool.

And Destaney Chae, would you prounounce the middle name like "shay" or would it be "chay"?

Well, except for my youngest brother, my dad was wrong with what gender he thought it was. It was just that they had a really hard time finding a name for the gender the baby wasn't. He didn't realize that's how it worked until after I told him that's what my grandpa told me.

I'm not too fond of B's (which is funny, since my name starts with one!). I like K's/hard C's, R's, L's, and A's or E's to start girl names with.

I didn't know that is what Renee meant, I like it even better now. and it would be "shay" i think.
