Ideally I want to breastfeed as long as possible. We'll see, I had to quit with my dd at 6 weeks.

I'm going to TRY to b/f. I'm fully aware that physically my body may not be able to (like my mother) or that babies have minds of their own (like my best friend's daughter), but I'm going to give it a good go.

Same here. I am going to attempt breastfeeding but I also had to stop at 6 weeks with Camille.

I am going to b/f. I have nursed all of my children. When my first was born in 1988 I nursed her but had to wean after 2 months because I had my gallbladder out. My next daughter weaned herself at 9 months. It is the boys that do not like to give up nursing. All three of my boys were the hardest babies to wean. My Dr told me it was because they know a good thing. I am wondering how Rebekah is going to do with nursing, if she will be like her sister and wean easily or be like her brothers.

I'm going to bottle feed. I did with dd and it was great! Plus, my dh got to help with feeding her and got the chance to bond with her when she was just newborn.

I'm undecided. I FF with DS but I might try BF'ing with this baby. I can't make up my mind.

I plan on bfing and formula feed when I go out somewhere. It worked out great with my girls. I wish I was more comfortable nursing in public but I have tried and just cannot do it. (I have many friends that have and I so envy them!) I tried pumping with both of the girls and never could so I am not even going to try this time, I don't even have a pump anymore got rid of it with Rebekah and not going to spend the money on it.

I will breastfeed as I did with the other three but after the first several months I will probably incorporate formula occasionally.

Breastfeeding for me. I made it 6 months with Kayla until my milk slowed down. So here's hoping I make it longer!

Breastfeeding, and as long as the pumping thing works, we will bottlefeed, but with breastmilk. I started leaking a little by about 19 weeks, so I don't know that quantity will be a problem. Now we have to see about the latching and how everything else holds up.

I am gonna try breastfeeding but if it doesn't work for whatever reason my Aunt works for this great hospital in Detroit and they have representatives from goodstart that come in and they will give them and their family members enough formula to feed until they are ready for food. So I am all set!!

I hope i'll be able to breastfeed since it can create an incredible bond and is often the healties thing for baby so I'm gonna try hard for it

BF'ing for me. I had to wean my first DD at 6 weeks because I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was then able to BF my second DD for a full year before she self weaned. I don't know if I'm up for another whole year of BF'ing, but I do intend to BF this one as long as I can.

There won't be any formula in my house... I believe it works best if you don't plan on doing anything but breastfeeding.
I will probably buy a pump of some sort but it won't be expensive because since I will be home during the day (and the night), I will rarely need to do so. Just when I'm going out for a while and DH has to watch the baby or I might bring a bottle of pumped BM to church as it's easier to do that.
ETA: I will breastfeed up to a year. My goal is to pump during the day and put it in sippy cups for the baby when he/she reaches 7 months until at least a year. At night, I'll nurse but during the day I want him/her to become more independent and work well with feeding himself/herself. Up until 7 months, I want to breastfeed exclusively (with the occasional pumped bottle).
