I always get such a hightened sense of smell during pregnancy. Last pregnancy I could not stand the smell of microwave popcorn. Tonight my dh made some kind of bratwurst for dinner (I didn't want dinner tonight and I hate bratwurst anyway) and I almost barfed when I could smell what he was cooking. Even though I don't like them, I usually don't mind the smell, but tonight it was DISGUSTING!!!! Anyone else have problems with different smells?
Yes, I do! Pretty much everything has smelled gross to me for the last 2 weeks. My house smells so bad to me now and it never bothered me before. I had to super scrub all the toilets because while I was puking one morning it smelled so bad to me that I puked even worse! When I went to my mom's house, it smelled so good to me so I know my house must really stink! Doh, it is probably the cat box, but now I'll forever be embarrassed to have anyone over here!
as bad as this might sound, i can't stand the smell of my DH. He works on Jets all day, coming home smelling like fuel, i can smell him from the garage, and im about to throw up, he comesin trying to be lovey dovey, im like, please go shower, you stink horribly.then one night , hes like rub my feet, im like ok whatever, sure.. he puts them on me, and im like dude you just stink, go away, and whats he sya, your just pregnant, your smelling things that arent there.. punk..lol

Before I started getting sick, I bought a really nice scented candle which I burned the first few days of morning sickness...Well I had to put the candle away for good because I can't stand to even look at it let alone smell it.
DH sometimes stinks really bad to me, too!
So my dh is polishing his boots right here in the living room and the smell is giving me such a headache and making me sick to my stomach. It smells so gross. I told him to go do it somewhere else b/c it smells so bad but he is not listening
I am with someone else on their DH. My smells so bad. I don't know how to break it to him when he gets off work he needs to shower. I can't have sex with him till the week end. I know he will take a shower then. He has PT in the mornings and then working all day so ewww.. He is all nasty and smelly when he comes home. I don't know who to tell him he needs to take a shower. I mean I'd offer to jump in if we didn't have David.. :-( But omg its one of the worst smells ever pregnant or not.
And my " burp" after I eat something. Is another bad thing it seems to stay there for days whatever I ate that just smelled back. I donno why but its GROSS!
All kinds of smells bother me now that didn't use to bother me before. Chicken, certain salad dressings, my yogurt. They still taste good to me, but I literally have to not breath through my nose as I am putting the food close to my face.
