My name is heather, i am a first time mother. My due date is June 30th. I will be finding out what i'm having on monday and i'm so excited. I'm a little worried because i've yet to feel the baby kick or even move. The doctors insist it's only because i don't know what I'm waiting to feel. I'm 20 weeks- has anyone else not felt their baby move? It's what I'm looking forward to the most.
Welcome to the group!! You have brought up a very popular discussion here. I am 23 weeks and hardly feel the baby moving. Everyone is different and first time mothers (like you and me) tend to feel movement later than experienced moms. I wouldn't worry too much. Soon the baby will be trying to kick his/her way out of your tummy!
I hope you stick around and join us! It is wonderful here! The girls are great.
HI, my first due date buddy!! i am due june 30 as well. im feeling a little movement, but nothing too major, its hard to tell if its just my body gurgling, or baby kicking, but im starting to be able to decipher them.
Welcome to the club!
Welcome and congratualtions! Don't worry too much, 20 weeks is not late for a first time Mommy. Hang in there, before you know it you'll be joining us other ladies complaining your baby is in the line dancing. lol

helllo, glad you joined us. I am due the same day but i'll be having a c-section. I really haven't felt the baby and if I am, i am not sure sometimes, and this is my 3rd time! I am sure in a couple of weeks, i'll be 100% sure, but i've never had this problem. Hopefully when u have ur u/s u'll be able to see the baby move, it helps a little.
Welcome Heather. My name is Annie and this is my first as well. I am 21 weeks today , due on June 21st. I am patiently awaiting my little girls first movements like many others. Be sure to stop by Monday to let us know what you are having.
Welcome Heather, and congratulations! I'm sure your baby is just fine, and I am also sure you have been feeling it, you just are not aware of what it is your feeling ... most women deal with that in first pregnancies!
Make yourself at home, we're a friendly bunch here! I'm Annie, BTW, mommy to my 9 month old son, Connor Michael, and expecting our second son, Hayden Alexander, mid June ...
Welcome Heather and congratulations!!! I agree, that you probably have felt the baby but just dont realize. this is my third pregnancy and I wasnt sure until the last week or so, but thats cuz I trully believe that she is doing the two step in there!! I wouldnt worry. Congrats and welcome to the group its wonderful here.
welcome Heather..congrats on your first little one!! i would say something about the movements..but the ladies here have already covered it fantastically this is a grrrrr-8 group..so glad you could join!!
Im 23 weeks now but when i was 20 weeks i wasnt really feeling much at all, sometimes i was wondering if what i was "feeling" was even the baby.. its hard to know what to look out for when your a first time mum, im sure in the next couple of weeks you will start to feel movement and welcome to the group you'll love it here.
HI there and welcome first time mommy!! Congratulations. You will feel baby any second. If you are feeling anything like little bubbles or tickles way down low, or something that feels like it could be gas, that is baby.
Right as you open your eyes in the morning, lay on your back and be really still and put both hands on your belly and see if you notice anything.
Welcome to the June ddc. I am luci Due may 26 (but I like the june club) with twins. I might even get mine in April. This is my third time and I didn't start feeling strong movement until about 20 weeks but now at 25 weeks they are fighting and I am lucky enough to get to feel all of it. Also Join us for chat on Tuesdays at 3 est. in the ddc room.

welcome, I only started feeling my first move at around 20 weeks. I am usially very in touch with my body and I had to concentrate to really feel it then, so don't worry. This time I started to feel it around 18-19 weeks, because I knew what to feel for. It will be swimming around like crazy before you know it! Alana
