My name is heather, i am a first time mother. My due date is June 30th. I will be finding out what i'm having on monday and i'm so excited. I'm a little worried because i've yet to feel the baby kick or even move. The doctors insist it's only because i don't know what I'm waiting to feel. I'm 20 weeks- has anyone else not felt their baby move? It's what I'm looking forward to the most.

Welcome to the group!! You have brought up a very popular discussion here. I am 23 weeks and hardly feel the baby moving. Everyone is different and first time mothers (like you and me) tend to feel movement later than experienced moms. I wouldn't worry too much. Soon the baby will be trying to kick his/her way out of your tummy!

I hope you stick around and join us! It is wonderful here! The girls are great.

Welcome! And I agree completely with what she said... first time mothers have it different and usually feel movement later! In a few weeks, he/she will be kicking you all over the place!

Welcome to the club. I'm sure you will love it, everyone here is so nice and friendly and by golly it helps pass the time of being pregnant, being able to experience things with other mom's!

Don't worry about the movement, I'm sure your little one will greet you any day now

helllo, glad you joined us. I am due the same day but i'll be having a c-section. I really haven't felt the baby and if I am, i am not sure sometimes, and this is my 3rd time! I am sure in a couple of weeks, i'll be 100% sure, but i've never had this problem. Hopefully when u have ur u/s u'll be able to see the baby move, it helps a little.

Welcome Heather, and congratulations! I'm sure your baby is just fine, and I am also sure you have been feeling it, you just are not aware of what it is your feeling ... most women deal with that in first pregnancies!

Make yourself at home, we're a friendly bunch here! I'm Annie, BTW, mommy to my 9 month old son, Connor Michael, and expecting our second son, Hayden Alexander, mid June ...

HI there and welcome first time mommy!! Congratulations. You will feel baby any second. If you are feeling anything like little bubbles or tickles way down low, or something that feels like it could be gas, that is baby.
Right as you open your eyes in the morning, lay on your back and be really still and put both hands on your belly and see if you notice anything.

welcome, I only started feeling my first move at around 20 weeks. I am usially very in touch with my body and I had to concentrate to really feel it then, so don't worry. This time I started to feel it around 18-19 weeks, because I knew what to feel for. It will be swimming around like crazy before you know it! Alana
