Predict babys weight WebMD

Have any of you tried this site? I found this in March DDC....

According to this formula they have(which was really hard to do for me, i had to get DH help)...if born
at 37 weeks my baby would weigh 8.4 lbs...if born at 40 weeks it will weigh 9.1 lbs! (which would still be smaller than my DD)

lol i tried with guesstimating the weight I'll gain in the third and came up with a 5.3 lb baby...

Doubt that's very accurate, seeing as how babes in both sides of me and DH's family run between 9 and 11 lbs.

Excel Speadsheet to predict weight

This is the excel formula i did...i think its right... What confuses me is ... it says 6.3 lbs right now with 27 weeks typed in, when i type in 40 thats what gives me 9.1....so is that right? do you change the weeks to get the weight for that time or what? cuz i know the baby isnt supposed to be 6 lbs right now....ya know?

I did it for my daughter who was 9.9 at birth....but according to that she should have been 7.8 haha!

OK...WHEW! I Attempted it...but I have no idea if my calculation is right or not!! haha...that was a doozy and i haven't done a math equation like that in years!!!

Ok, I did it for my current number of weeks - 27 weeks and got 5.86 lbs....which, I know this baby isn't already 5 lbs so that can't be right

But when I did it for 39 weeks, I got 8.33lbs......which is probably pretty close b/c my DD was 8 lbs even at birth.

Pretty neat! Now my brain hurts!

For those of you having trouble you can click on that excel spreadsheet i posted above and change the answers to match you, and you can get your answer without doing the whole math thing.

I don't think that this would work for right now. It's not designed to. That's why it's got the 3rd trimester numbers that you're supposed to put in there. I'm betting this is only supposed to be "accurate" for the last month or so.

but what did you put in for the 3rd trimester weight gain rate?

And since I'm only 24w, I don't have a 26w weight either. *sigh*

ugh..i'm entirely too lazy to even attempt that..thankfully Fox's dad is a math whiz & physics major..i'm going to have him do it..hehe..i'll edit this in a bit with my prediction

**edited to say..

okay well i had him do it with Rory's info first..using her FULL gestational age..which was 39weeks6days..and it said 8.4 not too far off..she was 7lbs. 12oz.

so for Fox we just used the same days for gestation..just assuming he'll stay in as long..and it said 8.5..something. soooo hopefully that will mean he'll be around 7lbs. 14oz..that i can handle..lol

****EDITED AGAIN****

okay i'm starting to think Jeremy isn't as smart as he lets on..lol..jk.
but really..i decided to try this myself and i got..

7lbs. 8oz for Rory & 7lbs. 11oz for Fox

i think mine are right..lol
