He tried to listen witht he doppler and couldn't find the HB, I nearly freaked out. And he said don't worry if we can't find it we'll do an u/s. So that's what we did!!! He couldn't find the hb becaue the baby was moving sooooooo much!!!! So it went pretty great!

I would have been scared too, but thats good you got the u/s and got ot hear the heartbeat afterall. Im glad the appointment turned out to be a good one!

Yeah I would have been worried too. I almost started to worry at my last appointment 'cause she had a hard time finding it, but it was higher than she thought. Glad it went good for you.

Wow you're really lucky they can just do the u/s in the Dr's office. At my first appointment (I had thought i was 12 weeks but later found out I was about 11 wks) she tried to check for a heartbeat but couldn't find one so I had to call the ultrasound clinic and schedule one for myself. They couldn't fit me in for 10 days! It was a little nerve wracking as I'm sure you're aware!
I'm really glad to hear that everything looks good though!

that must have been so scarey. when my sister went in once with her first baby the dr tried to use a dopplar and couldn't find hte heartbeat so she started bawling. the dr told her that if he found the heartbeat every time with every woman he'd be a miracle worker [something along those lines]
