I'm just curious...... I have noticed that most ladies who have shared their pics that their babies are on the right in the tummy (left on the u/s) I'm opposite.... baby is on the left in my tummy and right u/s. I'm just curious where everyone's baby is placed and wondering if anyone has any theories as to why...... One lady said Left side means girl, Right means boy....

I'm not sure...sometimes I have to take pics of pictures with my digital camera to post them b/c we don't have a scanner so the images can get flipped. I'll have to check out my u/s and see what side the baby is on.

If you look on the u/s the babies head is on one side either left or right, what ever side it is on it's the opposite in your belly. (which is what I was told, and the more I think about it the less sense it makes lol) but just by looking at the u/s itself, the head is either on the left or the right...... I noticed that most u/s's that I've seen the head is on the left, but my baby is on the right...
Just thought it was interesting and was wondering if anyone had thoughts or theories? And if they could share where their previous one's were and if they were boys or girls
I just looked at my u/s and my baby's head is on the right too....wierd since I tend to feel kicking on the left side. I remember from previous u/s that Andy's head was on the right too but I don't remember Matthew's. I have never heard predicting the gender by which side the baby is on.
I believe the picture you get from an ultrasound is a mirror image of what is really there. That would be why when baby appears to be presenting his/her left side, it is actually the right. As for their position predicting gender... sounds like another wives' tale to me!

I just checked my DD's u/s pics (cant find my DS pics) and their heads are on the left.......this baby the head is on the right....hmmm, i'll let you know the gender in 25 days time LOL
Well, I looked at my son's and his head was on the right at 20 weeks. This one, I can't really tell yet which side is the head! It was last done at 9 weeks and still just looked like a jelly bean. I will see the new one at 20 weeks. Interesting idea though!
