Well, saturday being my day off, and this being the first saturday where i have felt some what normal and not nausoues. I decided to clean up and organize around the house. So I started in the bathroom and worked my way through the house. (skipping the kitchen, it still makes me sick being in there) And so I get to the last room being the entrance way and the stool, which stays in the kitchen is in the front room. So I pick it up holding the seat part close to my belly, chest area and am walking through the house, with the legs of the stool pointing out. And low and behold the first doorway i try to clear I smack the doorjam and the seat of the stool jabs into my solorplex. almost winding me. So now I'm all nervous that I've disrupted the baby and something bad is going to happen. GGRRR.....right now I wish i had a doppler or an ultrasound machine or something! .......SORRY GIRLS..... I'm just stressing a little.. ..what do you guys think.

ps....never cleaning again!

That's really terrible! I'm sure that if you aren't bleeding or cramping the baby will be fine. Definitely take the rest of the weekend off. Sending you lots of sticky dust!!

I bet it's all fine - I must say I'm really glad I've rented a doppler. It does help to ease the mind if you're feeling unsure about something. Good luck, sticky dust coming your way but am positive it won't be needed!

Sending lots of sticky dust! Remember we get lots of padding in the tummy for things like this! It's mother nature's way of protecting the baby. Take it easy and keep us posted!

Awww! Sorry you have been so worried! I know what you mean about being scared and all. A couple of weeks ago, while I was working at daycare, a really heavy little 2 year old came over to me and jumped on my belly, as i was half lying/ half sitting on the floor. I just about screamed! I felt so nauseous afterwards, i was SURE something bad had happened. But luckily everything turned out ok. I had my regular dr. appointment a week later with u/s and everything was perfect.
Pretty scary though!

I am sure you are fine.

I saw this lady on television who fell from the second floor of her house onto a microphone stand that went through her while she was 7 months (or later) pregnant, and the baby was fine. Isn't that crazy?

Usually Baby is very well cusioned against such things... no cramping or bleeding is definitely a good sign! And I think we should ALL avoid housework just to be on the safe side.
