Hi everyone,

When I got out of bed this morning I fell straight to the ground, i had absolutely no feelings in my legs. Within a few moments later I regained the feeling in my legs and could finally get up. I got so worried and rang my doctor, she said it was because I must of been laying on my back during my sleep which could of caused it. She told me if it happened again to go and see her straight away. I hope it doesn't though. I've never had an epidural before because this is my first pregnacny but it sure probabaly felt like I was given an epidural. It was the weirdest feeling ever. Has anyone else experienced this? I've told a few people and they are really concerned about it, they never had that happen to them before while being pregnant. About 8 years ago I had fallen down and slipped the last two discs in my lower back, but even then, I never had this happen to me before. I just hope I don't start having really bad problems with my back now. I've started yoga about a week ago, and I hope it's not from that. But I have a class today and I'll ask my yoga teacher and see what she thinks.

Take care everyone
Anna

It's possible that it's a pinched nerve... especially with your history of back injury. With the hormones seperating and loosening the muscles, ligaments, and tendons to enable your hips to spread for baby it's very possible. Have you ever considered seeing a good chiropractor? I see one for my back problems, and honestly if it wasn't for him I have no idea how I would function. Take care of yourself and keep us updated!

I used to see a very good chiropractor for a very long time (many, many years), that's probably why I didn't have any problems before. But now that we are not in Australia anymore (due to my husband working overseas) we are now in Dubai, I haven't had the chance to find a chiropractor. I thought now that I was pregnant aswell, it might not be a good idea to go to one. I was thinking of going after I had the baby. I have my appointment with my OB on Monday 26th March and I'll see what she says about seeing a chiropractor, if she says it's ok I will definately go to one. I love it when they crack your back, isn't it a great relief? Thanks for reminding me about using a chiropractor.

Take care and I will let you know how I go.

Thanks again sweetie
Anna
