Well......we thought Aiden was coming on Wednesday night. We were at birthing class of all places when "things" starting happening. Of all things we were getting in the floor to do the massaging exercises and as soon as I got to the floor I felt something come out. I told Brad to get me up and ran to the bathroom. I had lost my mucos(SP) plug and some fluid. Yuck!! Brad told the teacher what was going on and she sent us straight to L&D. She was really nice though and was very reassuring that if we had the baby that night that her would be OK. I was 34 weeks 2 days. I had been having contractions all day and didn't know it! I just thought my back hurt and I couldn't figure out why I was cramping. :-) Well. Now I know what that is. We were put on monitors as soon as we got to the hospital. In the first 15 minutes I had 4 contractions. They decided to give my a shot (of something I can't remember) to stop the contractions. We ended up staying over night and getting 3 of those shots up unitl 5am. When I would move around I would have more fluid come out more. So they told us that they had to check to see how much he was in and if it wasn't the amnotic(sp) fluid then we would get to go home but if it was then we would be staying at the hospital until he was born, even if that was tomorrow or in two weeks. They did an ultrasound around 2pm to check and make sure Aiden was in enough fluid. Everything was good so they let us leave. He weighs 4lbs 15ozs. They said he looked great. He is way down low and looking to come visit soon. Now that I am home and not to be doing anything, it's hard to sit here. Everything I feel confuses me and I don't know what to do. I'm not having the back pains any more but I am having constant cramping. It's nothing I can time because it doesn't end. But the baby is still moving so I guess everything is OK. I'll be calling Dr. Whitmore as soon as she gets in this morning! He's just got to stay in there a little longer. At least to 36 weeks. So he's got 1 1/2 weeks to go.

We sure have some impatient babies in our DDC. I'm glad he is staying put for now. Try to take it easy and hopefully he will hang in there a while longer.

How scary. Do what the doc says and rest. And tell Aiden to stay in there for a while.

Just got off the phone with the doc again. Now I am on bed rest until my apointment on Thursday. She also put me on the tribulene(sp) to stop the contractions. So I guess you take this stuff every six hours and it relaxes your uterus. Bed rest is BORING. At least I have a lot of books to read. And I have you guys to talk to. Thanks for the support! Oh and no I am not dialated.
