I haven't been working, and I miss it. I didn't want to go back, because we are moving soon.I can still hide my 21 week ( well 21 week tomorrow ) belly.and i was thinking about going back to work, not telling them i'm moving or that i'm pregnant. figured i could just transfer jobs to another close to my house, so i had a job when i got there.

here's my questions::

would i get fired for not telling them im moving or that im pregnant?would it be stupid of me to go back to work now?

As an employer I might be a little mad about that. Not that they have a right to descrimnate because you are pregnant. However, I think they have a right to know what your current situation is, if not, I'm sure you can easily find employment where you are moving. The best way to go into a job is with complete honesty - unless, however, you are going to a law office... kidding .

I agree with Natacha. On the going back to work, IMO I wouldn't with your past history with the pregnancy so far. If you take too many days off because your having complications, they might terminate you. I think that is added stress you don't need right now.

very true. i wish i kept my last job. but i had no choice but to quit. plus ( no offense to any women in here ) but she was like 250 ( give or take a few lbs ), and a porn star on a over weight girl site. and every time i looked at her i laughed.that's wrong of me isn't it?but i couldn't help it.i just couldn't keep it from happening.but i had to quit cause of the hematoma.i just miss working. i miss the interaction with people.

edited... i mis-typed a sentence.. she = my main boss

reading that totally made me laugh. I totally understand what you mean by missing the interaction with people. Work is the only interaction I get (I don't talk to anyone at school).
I wouldn't suggest it right now considering your current situation....and I don't think it's a wise decision to not tell a future employer about your pregnancy. It's inevitable that they would find out.
I felt bad that I found out I was pregnant the same week they were giving me a promotion into my new position.

With all of your issues, rest up! I'm probably going down to part time next week and can't wait.

I agree with Natasha about being honest. But really it is up to you about if you want to really go back to work or not and with how you are feeling. Just don't push yourself. Let us know what you have decided to do. About your feelings about interacting with people, why don't you start maybe some prenatal yoga classes, you'll be interacting with pregnant women which would be just as good and the excercise. That is what I'm doing and I absolutely love it.

If you do decide to go back to work, be honest. If you feel you can't, stay at home.

i would never even think about going back to work with all the problems you have had, bed rest is just that bed rest.. feet up, no lifting, no working ect ect.. i would take the good with bad and not work, not a big deal have friends come over, set up "play groups" where you and the kids have fun, i would not push it IMO your lucky to have everything going so well with the past you have posted kwim?

AND if you do go back to work, tell them the truth why lie about it?

Yoga classes and some pregnancy exercise groups sound great, however, I would check with your doctor first even if they are related directly towards pregnancy. You have had too many problems and the issue of bed rest. Good luck.

ya i have an appointment may 2nd with her.for a follow up and all that.i have to ask her what would be best, driving from cali to michigan or flying. and im praying she says fly.because i dread the driving all that wayim a huge baby about being in a car for a long period of time.

i will definetly ask her about the classes and where to go to them.i should call them gym i had a membership at and ask them if they have any. i doubt she'll give me clearance to do it.but if not, i'll be back around family soon.so im sure i'll get tons of interaction with people again.i have interaction now, kinda, but for the most part it's my annoying azz neighbors.

No, stay home with your children, rest, and take care of yourself and baby.

Just a question, but haven't you had tons of problems with contractions and bleeding, and now have been put on bed rest?

yea but i wasnt planning on going back like tomorrow. cause the doctor in the er thought i was working anyways, and said she'd give me a note for bedrest till my next checkup, and i told her i didnt work so didnt need it. but i was thinking if i got clearance to get off best rest at my next appointment of going back to work.

but after reading post and thinking more about, i'm just gonna wait till i move to michigan and get a job. i got a job offer call for an interview, but she didnt know i was still in california, and said when i get into town to call her, and we'll do an interview.hopefully after they see my belly they'll hire me.
