well, after karissa had her baby Thursday it suddenly hit me just how CLOSE this is getting!! eeek!!

So I spent the weekend cleaning my house and getting ready for the baby.

We brought in the bassinet, so now the baby has a place to sleep

Installed the car seat!

Made some diapers! Not quite enough, but a good start anyway

and I finally started packing my bag.

As of today I have the green light to have this baby whenever she's ready to come. yikes! At least I finally feel like I'm ready for her to arrive. Everyone is telling me she'll be here before the end of this month, but I'm not so sure. I'm starting to feel like she may be a tad early, but not by as much as everyone else is predicting.

Doesnt it feel so much better to be ready for the baby?..Only problem is.. now I am super bored.. I didn't have supplies to make mroe diapers.. but I did buy about 13 cloth diapers.. 10lb-22lb. Do you think 13 is enough for that weight range?

I need to do that! lol. I've decided that I'm going to put the carseat base into my car tomorrow. And I'll actually pack a hospital bag and was some of her clothes.

I'm sure it feels good to you to be ready though!

Yammie - With Courtney I had about 14 diapers total and it lasted me a couple days (washed every other day) so it's probably okay. What kind did you get?

I got Kushies and plan to make my own liners for them

It is a pretty good feeling to know that you are all ready for their arrival! Im glad that you are done and have a good start on those diapers! Congrats!

good for you! I kinda have the baby's bag packed, i just need some little essentials in there like wipes, lotion, q-tips and cotton balls. I have my baby emery boards in there though from DD's birth.
