So with the addition of our little Kaitlyn, DH and I decided to take out life insurance plans for everyone. I had to wait until I had Kaitlyn to do mine because they dont' insure women in their last trimester.....that was a side note. Anyways, the nurse came to the house today to do blood work, take a urine sample, etc. Then she pulled out the scale...*insert dramatic music here*..

The number was loud and clear...I hadn't lost anything for the past week. The first 20 pounds dropped like nothing! I didn't even have to think about it. These last 10 pounds are hanging on for dear life!!! DH isn't helping. He is opting for ice cream and meals out (thanks to all the gift cards we received after kaitlyn was born). I can't blame DH...it's my fault for giving in. But I figured that the first 20 pounds dropped so easily that it wouldn't matter. It does. Looks like I will have to be more careful with what I eat. I really want these last 10 lbs gone so I can fit into my jeans!!!!

That's all.

Yeah, the last 10 lbs. will hang on for a while. Are you breastfeeding? If you are, you will most likely keep that extra weight until you wean. You need a little extra to product milk, plus the extra fluid adds weight.

I do believe that my hips are a million times wider than they used to be. Everything would fit if these hips would go back to normal.

I think my hips have grown too. I am almost at my prepreg. weight, but my clothes still don't fit right.
