Even though we are 100% not changing the name we have picked out I don't call our baby by that name... Usually its the baby or little peanut stuff like that, or if he's keeping me up, I'll tell dh 'your son won't settle down' but when I'm talking about him its wierd to call him by name I guess...Maybe it's because we so recently found out gender... I don't know... How about you?

We've had Tyson's name picked out since 16 weeks (wow, that was almost 10 weeks ago already!). Sometimes I call him by his name, and other times I call him "baby" or "baby boy". Sometimes I feel funny using his name too...I'm not sure why. I'm guessing it's a subconcious thing for me because it makes it so much more real and since this is my first, I am a bit nervous about him coming. Right now I like him right where he is!

DH isn't 100% about Robert James right now, so we don't name the baby....We just call the baby "baby" so we don't confuse little Ernest....

We have had the name Hailey Brooke picked out for a girl since I got pregnant, and we call her that about half the time. The rest of the time I call her 'my baby' lol.

I call my baby Fred - for Fred Astaire. Because he likes to tap dance at night. No we are not going to name him Fred.

We usually call her "baby Anna"....but now I am not sure about the name so I just call her "baby". It's gonna be confusing for the boys if we choose a different name b/c they call her "baby Anna" too!

i usually just refer to the baby by his name, jeremy. but i have also called him "this baby in my belly", "my son" and "jordis" (accidentally. that is the cat's name)

For the first 20 weeks we called her Hank, then we found out that Hank was a girl, so now we call her Lucy. We are not naming her Lucy or we were not going to name our boy Hank, but it still seams really wired to call her by the name we picked out. Also we decided not to tell anyone her name until she was born, so that is also part of the reason we don't call her by name.

We haven't 100 percent chosen our name yet so right now it's just 'baby girl' or pumpkin.

We call our baby just baby our my little man or son. We are pretty sure we are not changing the name either but I don't call him by it. Plus I think part of me is afraid the u/s tech is wrong and it is a girl. When we have the 4D one next month I will have them double check.

Since our baby girl doesn't 100% have a name yet, we usually call her Baby, or Sister to DS.

T.R. My dad started that. Anyone seend the Will Ferrell movie "Talledega Nights"? His 2 sons in the movie are Walker and Texas Ranger (or TR for short), so since my dad has known I was pg, he's called the baby TR. We're almost set on the name Carter, but TR is it most of the time.

Oh I luv this topic. We call our baby "lil creature" and "baby love" mostly. My husband calls him (or her) his "spawn" or his "mini me" Our nephews and nieces call the baby "tiny cousin" it's cute.
