This time with Little Ernest I had to stop working because my tailbone hurt so bad that couldn't walk and I was at work at the time...I was in tears and sitting in a wheelchair waiting for DH to get off work I was in so much pain...It's not as bad this time, but my entire back hurts to even move and my tailbone is no better....If I didn't have to work, study for school and chase Little Ernest around I would do nothing but lay in bed...This already looks like it's going to be a hard three months for me...

Bless your heart! That sounds awful. I have been having some hip pain but that is it. I hope that it doesn't get bad for you this time like it did before!

I've been having really bad sciatic (sp?) nerve pain, is that what you are having? For me it's a pain that runs down my butt cheek into my thigh...most of the time the right side, and it's extremely painful. Anyway, hope you feel better!!!

Are you using a pregnancy body pillow? Those things work a miracle. Also at work, put a pillow for lower back support - and take Calcium.

I hear ya.... my back has not been too bad , just a little achy, but my tailbone honestly feels like I broke it! It is so sore it has actually made me cry a few times when I make a sudden movement the wrong way. Does yours come and go throughout the day or is it constant? Mine comes in waves of an hour or two and a time maybe 3-4 times a day.

I'd never heard of tailbone pain during pregnancy, but boy am I feeling it!! I didn't have any at all with my first. Now it's like if I have to sit for any length of time, I'm in really big trouble! Anyone know what causes it? (Other than just being pregnant!)

With my son my back hurt so badly I wanted to cry everynight when I got home from work. This time around I started to see a chiro at 16 weeks. My back hurts but not near what it did with Jakob. Of course I am just starting to get big and feel back pain but the chiro seems to really be helping a lot.

Is there anyway you can see a chiro?

I hope your able to get some pain relief I know how horrible it can be.

I am sorry to hear you are having back pains...I hope it doesn't get worse for you. That is the most crippling pain in the world I know I feel so useless when my back is sore.

Sometimes if I sit with bad posture for any length of time my back will give me grief for a day or so after. So I really try to pay attention to that. So far so good, but I know as belly gets bigger it will come. (No sciatic nerve pain yet this time either)
