I just decided to put on some headphones and share one side with the baby and he reacted right away. I have it up by his feet and not too loud...it's interesting to see that he wasn't moving around until I put the music on...

anyone else try this?

Sounds like fun! I haven't done that, but I listen to a lot of music, so maybe I should. The first time I felt DS was actually at church when the orchestra started to play. It's fun to figure out their little in utero personalities!!

With Jayda i was pregnant in my Freshman Year so i was playing the violin at the time and I had tons of orchestra concerts....with jaylon he used to react to the same songs we played in the car...so i knew he was going to have rhythm. we were so shocked to see how he could clap to a beat ON BEAT lol before he was 1.

OOH YEAH...I had my baby listen to music thru the headphones at least twice a day..he lioved it-I played mostly Mozart....he moved all crazy when the music came on...I had to have 2 sessions for the 3D ultrasound..the first session was horrible and he didnt move at all--couldnt seee his face...I brought my music/headphones along for the 2nd session and thats all we needed to get him to move every which way we wanted..Now that he is born, I wonder if he would recognize the same music I played for him now..

it would be neat if he does. I didn't get a reaction out of Jaylon when i replayed the music for him once he was born, but he definitely loves to dance (when he feels like it lol)

We have a lullaby CD we got during my baby shower with Aiden. We played it for him in the womb, and now he listens to it when he goes to sleep for naptime and bedtime. He relaxes him. I've played a copy of it for Ava several times. She always reacts to it. I am taking a copy to the hospital with me too. I hope it relaxes her too!
