When do they start and did you go school shopping yet?

Kayla starts the 28th and she has everything she needs!

I can't believe she's going into 3rd grade! I don't feel old enough to have a 3rd grader!

i believe it's september 4th..she's currently attending a special program at her new school b/c she's just starting Jr. High. She has almost everything. I go on Monday to get her some Uniforms (they sell em for 3 dollars a piece THANK GOD). She needs a lot for her art class though...this is a magnet school so they do a lot more than the other schools, but i am anxious to see what projects they will have.

Kaylie start Sept. 10th also the 3rd grade. She will be 8 on the 22nd of this month. We went school shopping last week were all done also. I have learned in the past to get it done way before school starts or you wont get anything. All the store will be empty. I also feel the same way I'm to young to have a 3rd grader. Soon they will be into boys. Not looking forward to that

I just turned 25 but i'm not looking forward to anything relating to boys just because i still remember being that age very clearly. I know what i did and i was bad!!! Never got caught but i am going to keep a good eye from a distance (my parnets smother me thats why i was so wild) and make sure she doesn't repeat my past.

I hear you ladies on the boy thing. Makes me so nervous! Even worse though is DH, I think having to girls is going to turn him old, really fast! lol She's not into boys at all, she's friends with them but that's all. So not looking forward to the puberty/boys/makeup etc...

Amber, we learned that too with the supplies. You have to go late July or EARLY August if you want to find anything.

This year her list wasn't bad at all. Last year it was like three times longer.

Tay's starting 3rd grade too on the 27th. I'm not ready to have a 3rd grader

We have most of the shirts she needs, but she still needs some pants. Her stepmom bought her a new backpack, but she needs a new lunch box. Slowly but surely, we're getting everything!

oh i know it...I wasn't bad, but i wasnt good, i could have been better. Luckily it seems my daughter is very very different than I...As long as we monitor their actions and watch what friends they have..i think we'll be a lot better off than we were.

I was a good kid. Dh was my first and I was 18, I don't think my Mom believed that though. I think she thought I was sleeping with guys before that. lol I had a lot of guy friends over, but they really were just friends.
My Mom ALWAYS told me, if you ever get pregnant, do NOT be afraid to tell me, I'll help you and I think just knowing that, made me want her to be proud of me. KWIM? I want that same kind of relationship w/ my daughters.

Rayna and JB starts school on September 5th. We are going shopping tomorrow. Grandma bought the kids their backpacks and lunchboxes, and filles them up with supplies. She even bought them their first day of school outfits. Rayna is going into the 2nd grade and JB is going into kindergarten.

My Mom bought all of Kayla's supplies. I don't know why but she loves doing it and does it every year.
