Whenever Lexi starts to poop, she cries. At first it's an "I'm in pain" cry and it absolutely breaks my heart. But as soon as I or DH picks her up, she stops crying. I don't know if she just can't poop while laying down or if it is painful and the pressure of her stomach on our chests eases her pain. Does anyone else's baby cry like that? I'm going to call the doctor today about it.

Arianna does better when she has some pressure on her tummy - so if she's laying across our lap, on our chest or is swaddled tight with pressure on her tummy - she does better. Also, she does better if she's slightly inclined instead of laying flat on her back. If it seems really bad, I put my hand on the bottoms of her feet and kind of push her legs up to help her along and this seems to help as well.
