Mustard-y baby poop in a bowl, stinky toddler poop in the potty X 2, 4 year old pooper yelling "Mama I'M DONE, wipe me PLEASE!" and lastly, today, poop on my skirt, not mine mind you, but I don't know who, of the 4 children mentioned above, that it came from. Poop, poop everywhere...

As someone who has multiple toddlers in my house under my care at any given time....poop and wet trousers (or couch cushions) and yes even on my own clothing, are the story of my life too!! (There have been mornings that I have lost count of the number of poopy diapers I change by noon!)

All I can say is I am thankful that come five o'clock I at least get a break in the number of "I'm done!"'s or "Somebody's stinky!" that I hear!!! I don't know how you do it 24/7 Lisa!

Julie, We are begining our 5th experience with elimination communication, so far Mark and I have 'caught' 5 of his poops this week. He is way to small to sit on the potty still, so I hold him over a bowl. So he poops in a bowl!

Oh ok... Is Elimination Communication a way to get them to potty train faster?

It's not at all about potty training, it's all about meeting baby's elimination needs as an alternative to diapers. Just like baby's are born able to communicate to us that they are hungry, they are also born able to communicate to us that they need to 'go'. KWIM?

And I thought finding a smudge of poop on my hand was gross! Props to you Lisa! Other people get paid a lot of money to put up with that much crap!
