How come I can win these contests, but I can't lose any weight? UGH! I'm very frustrated, but hopefully with stepping up my exercise a bit more (more than 3.5-4 hours), I can lose some this week. Grrrr....

I think sometimes the body does like a build up where it doesn't loose weight and then all the sudden it starts to come off from all your prior work.

I hope so! I think I'm just frustrated, but I'm going to try to do really well this week and see what happens.

I have been slacking so bad lately! I can't really workout with these allergies though, or I'll go into a coughing fit and that will just ruin my day!!! I haven't gained anything back in these days without exercise though, and it seems like I might be slowly taking a bit off still, but it's so slow, and it may not even really be happening.
I hope you start taking some pounds off soon, you're doing really well at keeping up with your goals, and you're inspiring me a lot!!! Keep up the great work!!!

Amy I agree....you may just suddenly lose a few pounds all at once. Also, you may be hitting a plateau and need to change something in your routine? Another thing is even if you aren't getting a period chances are good that you will not lose weight during the week surrounding when you are "supposed" to get your period.
Do you weight yourself every day? If so, maybe try to wait a few days or even until the end of the week.....

I do weigh myself everyday. The reason being that I hope to see something to know how to adjust. I have definitely been feeling PMS-y lately though, so maybe that's it. Since I will be weaning Ava, I hope to see a loss then too.

I go back to work 10/22, so I'm starting the process (the slow process) today. I'm pretty sad about it, but I know I'll be okay in a few months (emotionally).
