Well, my little man is not so little anymore!!!
When a baby is born prematurely, they have 2 ages... they have their actual age (their actual birthday... which is july 2 for cade) and they have their corrected age (their due date, which is sept 7 for cade)...
So, Cade is actually 3 months old, but he is also 1 month old... make sense?!?!?!
So for developemental stuff and weight stuff, we go by his corrected age of sept 7...
So, for his 1 month (3 month) checkup.... he is doing great!!!

on 8/31 he was 7 pounds 5 ounces... and today, 33 days later... he is 10 pounds 4 ounces!!! right on track!!! gaining more than an ounce a day!
he is following things with his eyes and starting to smile more. he can lift his head form side to side when hes on his tummy, and even rolled over!

so the doctor said he is doing great! so encouraging!!

here are some updated pictures of the little guy! its crazy, he has more than tripled his birth weight!!!

it was raining and he liked the sounds of the rain, so we set him up facing the outside in front of the front door!! he was happy for a while!

He is so adorable and growing so well! That's amazing, I love seeing preemies surpass everyone's expectations. My little guy was a 38 weeker and at 3 months he was 10lbs 1oz! So Cade is definitely doing incredibly well.

Referral to fertility clinic sent Dec 1, 2011.. the wait begins
December 2011: Vit B6, Folic acid, Preseed, OPK's + temping... and lots of praying
April 3, 2012: Initial consultation done at fertility clinic. Starting Prometrium to induce AF, doing b/w and pelvic u/s and doing Clomid x 3 cycles

i am so happy that he is doing so well and is so healthy and beautiful. quite a growth spurt he's taken! he is just magnificent.
