Ok, we're either at or near the 6 month mark now, so here are some questions for you...
How long do you plan to continue breastfeeding?
Are you supplementing with formula, or do you plan to?
Will you try to get your little one to use a bottle when you stop breastfeeding or will you go to a sippy cup?
Anything you'd like to add?
I am asking cause I don't really know how long I'm planning to BF. I haven't used any formula to this point, and I don't know that I will ever, but I don't know that either! My mom said that it was hard for her to get any of her 4 kids that breastfed to go from BF to bottle so she went directly to sippy cup. I was the only one that wasn't happy nursing, I was a formula baby cause I was too hungry!
* How long do you plan to continue breastfeeding?
Until she's ready to stop. Though I probably won't go longer than 18 months
* Are you supplementing with formula, or do you plan to?
nope, not supplementing, not planning to
* Will you try to get your little one to use a bottle when you stop breastfeeding or will you go to a sippy cup?
straight to a cup. I don't like bottles and neither does she
How long do you plan to continue breastfeeding? As long as possible, but atleast until 1 year
Are you supplementing with formula, or do you plan to? No, she has never had any formula and we dont plan to use any either.
Will you try to get your little one to use a bottle when you stop breastfeeding or will you go to a sippy cup? I think that we will go straight to a sippy cup.

Are you supplementing with formula, or do you plan to? I have supplemented with formula and i am currently working ym supply back up so if he seems unsually cranky in the day i try a bottle and it usually fixes it. He hasnt had a bottle in a while though

I'd like to go another 6 months, possibly a year. It really depends on him though.
* Are you supplementing with formula, or do you plan to?
I was, but he refused it, and then we just stopped althogether. I don't plan to unless I need to.
* Will you try to get your little one to use a bottle when you stop breastfeeding or will you go to a sippy cup?
I hope to go straight to a cup. We never really did have luck with the bottle.
How long do you plan to continue breastfeeding? At least till a year unless she self weans ;-( I hope not
Are you supplementing with formula, or do you plan to? No and I don't plan to
Will you try to get your little one to use a bottle when you stop breastfeeding or will you go to a sippy cup? Straight to a cup she practices every evening with a cup at dinner.
How long do you plan to continue breastfeeding? I really have no clue. Maybe around 18 months or so. Unless she weans herself before then.
Are you supplementing with formula, or do you plan to? No formula for me.
Will you try to get your little one to use a bottle when you stop breastfeeding or will you go to a sippy cup? I will not be doing a bottle. We will go right to a sippy cup.
How long do you plan to continue breastfeeding? I'm not sure. I think I'm going to try and go for at least a year.
Are you supplementing with formula, or do you plan to? No
Will you try to get your little one to use a bottle when you stop breastfeeding or will you go to a sippy cup? She actually uses the bottle pretty well. I introduced the bottle to her when she was 5 weeks old. I wanted to have the option for a night out alone with dh. I knew I had to get her to take a bottle for that to happen. It is BM though.
How long do you plan to continue breastfeeding? Um, I don't really know. I'm still having issues with her making contact blisters on my nipples, and sometimes it REALLY hurts. I'm surprised I made it this far actually. I figure that I probably won't go past a year, but we'll take it day by day until then.
Are you supplementing with formula, or do you plan to? Well, I'm doing an experiment to see if taking a bottle after nursing at night will help her sleep better. I went to try it with EBM, but I think it got freezer burned because it smelled really funny and she would NOT take it. So we tried it with formula tonight. She only took about an ounce, and a lot of it dribbled out onto her chin, so I don't think she was all that hungry. *sigh* We'll see what happens.
Will you try to get your little one to use a bottle when you stop breastfeeding or will you go to a sippy cup? We're experimenting with the sippy cup now, but she gets more of it down her front than into her tummy!
Anything you'd like to add?
I've been trying to decide if I want to wean her, just so that I can have my breasts back. She's starting to grab my shirt and stuff when she's hungry, and I don't like that. Add the blisters/pain to it, and it seems like a good idea. Until I think about NOT nursing her, and I don't want to lose that! So, I soldier on.
