Hi Ladies

I am 9 weeks pregnant today
And I have had off and on spotting since 5 weeks
Not heavy spotting just very faintly
It stopped after a day or two
Started again last week, only lasted a day or two and then nothing
Today it started again, and its not bright red or red at all, more like a light brownish-light pink color

I have had a miscarriage before, but the bleeding came on very heavily at that time, and I lost the baby at 7 weeks.

Last time with Noe that I had spotting, it was due to having sex, but I was almost 18 weeks then.
I am not sure what to make of this and I can't see a dr till maybe tomorrow and thats by going to the ER.
I am not having any bad cramping, just real slight cramping

I don't have my first appointment till Wednesday
I keep taking tests and they are VERY bold and dark, but I know that does not mean anything either

I am not sure what is wrong but I am very worried

I think it's possible that you have a low laying placenta (placenta previa). I had the same problem when I was pregnant with Ben. When the placenta is low it gets irritated very easily (from walking, sex, and stuff like that). If you don't want to go to the ER at least take it easy this weekend until you can get to a Dr.

If it's a low placenta it isn't too big of a deal. I had to take it easy for a while and wasn't allowed on my feet for too long. They'll keep checking to see if it's moved up which it does most of the time as the uterus grows. If it doesn't move the worst case scenario would be a c-section.

I hope everything is ok! Let me know if you need anything.

okay i didn't read the other posts yet..so if i repeat something..i'm sorry..

anyhoo..spotty is fairly common in early pregnancy and is probably nothing as long as you aren't cramping bad. I would for sure stay off of your feet and drink lots of water.
You may have a low-lying placenta or something like that..so just take it easy until you can see your dr. don't do any heavy lifting or straining.

I had a BAD bleed at 13 weeks with Fox..i lost over a cup of blood almost all at once..and it was due to a hemorrhage under the edge of my placenta because it was so low lying..but it cleared up and everything was fine. I'm going to say some prayers for you that it's nothing..k.

((((HUGS))))

I had a bad backache and red spotting when I was 10 weeks with Ava. I thought for sure I was miscarrying, after I had just told all my students I was pregnant. I had an u/s done, and everything looked fine. We did DTD, and the doc put me on rest for a week. It came back once or twice more, but obviously, everything turned out to be okay. Did you get it checked out? I probably would just to ease my mind. !
