I know we've talked about this before but now that its closer do you have any plans?

DH and I decided that we are going to rent the pool for a day since we both have big families with lots of kids. Its also good motivation to lose the extra baby weight.

I'm not sure yet. We'll probably just have some family here at the house or if it's going to be nice weather we'll do it at a park.

Not completely sure yet. More than likely we will have it here at home since he will be making a huge mess and I will want him in the highchair, lol. I have some decorations picked out, but Im gonna look around to see if I can find anything cheaper before I buy that stuff...

Honestly, I don't know what we are going to do... I'll be 8 months pregnant so it will be a rather interesting birthday party to start with... I think we will probably have his birthday at Blue & Gray Park during Memorial Day weekend while all the family & friends are still in town... And then have a party just for the close members of the family on his birthday...

We will probably have a barbeque at our house with family and a few close friends. It will be more for me this year, since she won't remember any of it! And it will be frog and dragonfly decorations in sage green and lilac. And I will have Kelli make her a special birthday diaper to wear! She will get her own cake to destroy, as well. DH will probably make it for her.

haven't decided for sure. I'm thinking of going with a summer-fruit / strawberry theme, but I don't have any details

We're planning on renting a small park by my mom's house. It's private and has everything we'll need. Between friends and family, there are tons of small children who will enjoy the play equipment. Besides, our condo is WAY too small for a first bday party.

I think the park is only $15 dollars to reserve for the day.

We don't have many other little kids that would be there so I'll make Ben's something more adult friendly. I think like I said above we'll do it at home or at a local park. That way it will be fun for the kids who will be there but not something that would torture the adults either!

We are going to have a party with family and friends at our house. It is going to be a cupcake theme...I have actually bought most of the decorations already since all of the Valentine decorations are out and there are lots of cupcake things. Instead of a birthday cake we are going to have a cupcake tower with fancy cupcakes. I am also making a slideshow of her first year to play on our TV during the party.
