So, Erin's had this cough since Saturday. I took her to the Dr on Tuesday and he said she isn't VERY sick and said about all I can do is wait it out. (and obviously, if she gets worse take her in).

She doesn't have a fever. Actually, her skin is cool and kind of clammy.


SHOULD I be worried?

How is she acting? If she is acting normal and still eating well I wouldn't worry too much. Just keep an eye on her.

i would only be worried if she runs a fever and is acting not like herself
noe had a bad cough that followed with running nose, the cough tappered off and now we got a double ear infection

I think everyone gave good advice - you know her best. It's hard for me because of the whole whooping cough nightmare we went through with Kellan. He never stopped eating or nursing or taking a bottle and his disposition pretty much stayed the same....he was amazingly cheerful. Even the ER told me he was absolutely not sick Hayden had terrible ear infections for months and I'd never know because he had no symptoms - he'd just have a restless night of sleeping!

Just watch her closely for any changes.

Id just watch out for fevers and on her behavior. But if the cough gets bad enough to really worry you (real deep cough or barky sounding) then I would get her checked again.

I agree with the others! Follow your gut, you know if its more, just remember alot of the times when baby gets sick, thats it its just a cold. Follow your momma instinct!
