I hardly slept and I'm exhausted. I can hardly stay awake but don't have a choice. There is no one on here to talk to. Help!

I'm drinking diet coke but it isn't working. Ben was a stinker last night and kept waking up. Then he got up for the day at 6 am after being up like 3 times last night.

Drink another diet coke then. It will make you feel better!
Bad Ben! I'm sorry he kept you up so much. Is he teething? Growing? Just being a PITA?

LOL Just being a PITA I think. He likes to occasionally torture me. He's gotta make sure I'm not getting to comfortable with this whole Mommy thing. He wants to keep me on my toes.

Ben would play but the other kid doesn't really play. He doesn't interact much at all. I've thought all along that he was autistic and they finally were just told that he most likely has Aspergers which is a form of Autism. Most of the time he doesn't even respond when I call his name. He plays a bit by himself but won't play "with" someone.

Aww, thats too bad. Is he easier or more difficult to babysit since he's autistic?

It's a little of both. Somethings are easier. He doesn't always get into much so that's nice. However, he still eats baby food (he's 20 months) and won't feed himself so I have to do that. He also doesn't talk so it's like a guessing game to figure what he needs if he seems upset. He'll whine and I have to figure out if he's hungry, wet, thirsty, sick, bored, tired or whatever. He gives no other indications like pointing to what he wants or anything.

Wow, definitely sounds like he is developmentally delayed. Poor kid. At least he has a caring person watching him. Does he walk?

I'm with ya, Susan. I was awakened around 2 am. I got online for a bit. Now, I feel like the walking dead. I have to go to Leesburg to give my mom her present and I wanted to go to Target, but I may be too sleepy for it. I cuddled with Will for a bit and usually when I know he's fallen asleep I transfer him into his pack-N-play so I can get things done. Well, I dozed off for a bit and now I feel more tired then I did before.
I'm downing a frap right now but it's not kicking in!!!

Yes finally started walking at about 17 months. He had to go to therapy and all for it. They just diagnosed him last week so I'm hoping that after a few therapy sessions they'll have an idea of what needs to be done and can tell me what to do to really help him when he's here. I talk to him a lot and try to play with him and all.
