We are in the new house! Everything went smoothly, we are all just very exhausted. I have always lived in new places or apartments that were professionally cleaned before I moved in, so it was difficult for me moving into a house where someone else lived, and cleaning up after them. It really disgusted me. Its a big empty house right now. We have several empty rooms, that we will have to buy furniture for. Lorelei handled the move okay. She has been extremely cranky and wanted to be on my hip constantly, which is really slowing everything down. BUt other than that things are good. I'll post pics soon.

Yay! I've been wondering how everything was going. Moving into a house and doing all of that cleaning is crazy. I remember when we had to do it. I scrubbed down every inch of everything! I hope you get everything finished soon and that Lorelei stops being cranky. I've been missing you! I can't wait to see pics!

They didnt clean it when they left? Thats aweful!!! Im sorry you have to do that on top of packing, moving and unpacking!! Im glad your in though and hope you can get finished and settled in soon!!

I've been wondering about you, hoping all was going smooth. I'm glad you're all moved. I'm dying to see some pics!! How many rooms/bedrooms, etc... does your new house have? It sounds huge! I'm jealous!

Its not huge, Paula. Just alot bigger than we are used to. 2200 sq ft, 3 br 2 ba. We were coming from 1450 sq ft. So we dont have enough furniture to fill it right now. Here are some pics, ignore the mess of boxes everywhere and the hideous paneling in Lorelei's playroom!

Oh, I LOVE that fireplace!!!! LOVE the window seat in the pr!! ALL ours rooms were filled with that ugly paneling, it's such a PITA!!! I just painted our bedroom and office, it looks ok. We ripped it out of the girls rooms, ong what a mess. We STILL have it in the diningroom and a wall of it in the livingroom.
What a pretty house! I love it! I love the fenced in yard!
