Makena use to do great about sleeping in her crib. she would wake up about 2-3 times but all we would have to do is put the paci back in and she would go back to sleep.

Now when I go and put her in bed she will wake up and scream, if i stay there and look at her she is fine but she won't go back to sleep, but if i put her in bed with us she'll sleep all night long. I tried to let her CIO the other day but an hour went buy and she didn't show any sign of stoping so i put her in bed with us. she has only slept in her bed about 3-4 times the last 2 weeks and everytime it has ended with her in our bed.

any advice is greatly appreciated.

I think sometimes you just have to tough it out if you really want her to stay in her own bed. Ben wakes at night and we are going to start dealing with that. We don't let him come in our bed usually though. I nap with him when I can but he doesn't sleep with us at night.

Ugh I know its going to come down to CIO, and I wish there was an easier answer, I don't mind her sleeping with just me, or just dh but when the three of us are in the bed together nobody sleeps, she takes up half the bed herself.

I don't like CIO either Mikala. I've never done it before really. I'll let him fuss for a minute or two and he goes right back to sleep but once he's crying I'm there. He really doesn't need to be eating so much at night and it's become a bad habit.

I'm the same way about sleeping with him in our bed. We only have a double bed so there isn't much room and DH is kinda dangerous when he sleeps. If it were just me in the bed I wouldn't mind.

Makena doesn't fuss, she starts out screaming, but i think its because she knows that will get us to pick her up.

I'm not a fan of CIO either, but maybe it would help to just try to soothe her and talk to her without picking her up, just to let her know you're there. I'm sorry I can't stand to listen to Brayden whine without doing anything so I'm not much help. Good luck. I hope she starts sleeping better.

MIkala, I dont have any advice, I just wanted to say I hope it gets better. I didnt like CIO either. Lorelei will not sleep in the same bed as me anymore, only rarely can I even get her to nap with me.

It really does sound like CIO is the only answer here. What about a heartbeat bear, or a noise machine, or some music, something like that? Emily uses a noise machine, sounds like rain.
Maybe even spray your perfume if you wear any, in her room before you leave it. Man, I HATE CIO but sometimes it's all there is left. Good luck!!
