Jett can handle chunky foods and always has so I think he would do well with them but I'm going to keep him on 2s for a little while since he is one of the younger babies in here.

I haven't yet. Does there seem to be much of a difference in consistency between the stage 3 and stage 2?

some of the 3rd foods have tiny pieces in them (spaghetti, rice, etc.) But the fruits and cereals are just a little thicker.

Emily has had a couple, if they can handle the puffs, they can handle the 3rd foods. She's had the spaghetti and the little noodles are HILARIOUS!
She prefers just regular food though. Like fruit cups, I just cut the pieces in half and give them to her, she LOVES them and can feed herself.
Same with cooked carrots, even cooked potatoes. I just cut them real small and give her and she does GREAT!

Yeah Dylan has had the spaghetti and the noodles were a bit big, I just chopped them up a bit more and it was fine.
He had a lasagna one today and did great with the noodles, I didnt have to cut it up at all.

Yes I thought those noodle specks were funny. I was like well I guess this won't require any chewing! He scarfed it down like there was no tomorrow. I think I'm going to buy him some other kinds to see what consistency they are.

Maybe the 3rd foods will help him at night Susan, since they are a little thicker.

That's my hope Paula! We'll see how it goes tonight. If it goes well my butt will be at the store tomorrow buying some more.
