Evan has been crabby lately, and really chewing on his fingers, so I'm assuming he's teething. He's also been pulling on his left ear. Last night he woke up crying and when I went into his room he was laying with his eyes closed but was grabbing his ear. But he doesn't have a cold so I don't think it's an ear infection. If he is teething can it cause his ears to hurt?

Honestly it could be either, he could just be teething, but he could also have an ear infection with no other symptoms, my kids got them ALL the time out of nowhere.

He could very well have an ear infection even if he has no other symptoms.
Ive heard that sometimes they do get some ear pain with teething though, but Ive never personally seen it with teething, so I dont know...
