So I'm kinda bored with my regular liquid foundation and the mineral makeup commercials and infomercials are tempting me. Does it actually work that well? What brands have you tried? Is it easy to apply? How is the coverage? Is it worth the money?

i wear bare minerals..it's perfect for me because you can sleep with it on and it won't break you out..i'm one for, forgetting to wash the make up off some nights! It covers me real well, its definately easy to apply, some days its time consuming because its a few different layers...um..yeah i guess it's worth the money, considering it doesn't cause break outs, that in itself is a seller to me!

I wear mineral makeup. Use Mineral Basics and I love it.. I love that I can mix and match finishing powders and it's real easy to apply.. And most importantly, i can fall asleep with it on and it won't ruin my skin.. I highly recommend mineral make up.

The brand I use is not expensive and it has lots of options... You should go check it out..

I use Bare Minerals also. I have used this foundation for the past year and I absolutely love it. I find it a lot faster and like Daniellea22 I love that if I forget to wash my face I don't break out. I have converted about 4 of my friends also. The first time I purchased it from Sephora but after that I realized that it was wicked cheap on ebay. The link here has a starter kit for only $29.99 and it comes with everything you need, all the brushes and a couple different shades so you are guaranteed to get the right shade. That is what I started with....except I spent like $60 or something. So its a really good deal.

Bare Minerals

I went to bed right after I posted this and the bare minerals page was still opened this morning. I realized that it was 2 payments of $29.95. Sorry. But still at that price I think it is worth it.

Does it work well at coverage? I need pretty good coverage, and I'm always afraid it wouldn't cover very well.

yes i think so. they have quite a few different tones to choose from so you can find one closest to your complexion. its light weight to it wont glob on or anything so apply as much as you need..i think they have a 30 day guarantee

I think I just might have to shell out the $60 for BareMinerals... it sounds like some of the cheaper store brands might not be as good... and hey if they have a guarantee, thats even better!

I use Sheer Cover www.sheercover.com. My sil ordered it from am infomercial and I tried hers and loved it so I ordered my own. I like it better than bare minerals. Their concealor (comes with the starter kit) is awesome too.
