Sorry you're confused Shawna. Please get LOTS of rest. I think I was 2cm and 50% effaced on my appt the day before I actually had the twins. And same as you, I had NO idea I was contracting. When is your next appt?

Im not sure what the pooling means..

Effaced is when your cervix thins..When u are ready to push it should be 100% effaced.

Just take it easy..Drink lots of water and when in doubt call or just go in! U dont want to chance it happening this early..SO much less stress if those little boys can bake a bit longer!!

KUP!

Big hugs hun. Such a scary time. But soon it will all be over. Just think positive, rest and bake those beautiful babies!

just saw this now, keep us posted! my water never fully broke when I had Ryleigh but it leaked. they tested me when i got to the hospital and told me it wasn't my water. (it was though.) they made me walk for 2 hours and lay back down so they could measure the contractions and sure enough it leaked again..all over their table haha...so they tested again and yep it was my water! so, not to scare you but definitely keep an eye out. rest a lot! and go straight back there if you feel the need!

I don't know what pooling would mean and I tried to look things up online but didn't find anything like that. But to me that sounds like you are leaking but then again I really don't know. Definitely keep an eye on things and let us know if anything changes.
