Brandon's well check went pretty well .... his speech is getting back on track now that he had his surgery (which has been an amazing success - he got tubes, tonsiles removed, adnoid removed and extra tissue ... they also removed a buch of "gunk" behind the ear drum ... his hearing went from moderate hearing loss to having regained 93% of normal hearing )

weight was 38lbs
height was 39"

.... in nice words our pedi said that lil B was a little chunky b/c his weight is 75% and his height is 25% --- i'm not worried - he doesn't drink pop, or a ton of juice, mostly water and some milk. Plus i think a lot of his weight is in his ginormous head we are going to make sure we step it up on the veggies tho.

Everything else is right on track for knowing his abc's, his name, drawing circles etc.

He's doing great and loooving his lil sister still

I agree with Jillian- my daughter is the same size (actually a tiny bit taller) and they've never mentioned it as worrisome. I'm sure he's just fine.
I had all of that stuff removed as a kid due to recurrent, awful ear infections and I had lost some odd percentage of my hearing. I have completely (sometimes selective) normal hearing now.

Harley is 42.5" tall and 53 lbs and absolutely NOTHING was said about her being overweight. I worry but she is tall enough that it all works out. I'm sure once she starts to get even taller it will all even out. Glad to hear that his hearing and speech is better now after surgery! We've got some healthy four year olds on our hands now!!!
