Hey! So who has plans for 4 yr birthdays! Cakes? Parties? Themes? Gifts? Activities? Laying low?
I am waiting to hear from my sisters to see if they will get together for Jocelyn's day. Have not had luck in the past so we'll see. I can't believe my baby is almost 4 years old! She is a little lady now, no where near the toddler of yester-year.

We'll be laying low for the most part. I am trying to ease out of the huge birthday party thing my in-laws do. I'd much rather make a pretty cake for her and just have dinner and presents with the grandparents.

Huge parties are so loud and chaotic that nobody really enjoys them, so I'm avoiding that, lol.

We just had simple parties with Mere this year. We just did a small "immediate family" one with the grandparents and aunts/uncles on each side. I know next year she'll want something big with her school friends so I figured this was our last chance for a calm party! LOL

She LOVES SpongeBob lately... (more just the character than the show thankfully, but I am not a fan, so I hope it's just a phase. LOL.) so we decorated at the in-laws with SpongeBob and my family just met at Chick-Fil-A so we didn't do decorations. We didn't do a whole lot of presents. She got the mini-Lalaloopsy bus and ferris wheel and some other small toys and Fall clothes. Her uncle gave her some Disney DVDs and a Looney Tunes DVD that she is loving! She won't call Looney Tunes by name though, it is "the rabbit and duck show with the little yellow bird". Haha
