Rob is off for the week, going to the hatchery tomorrow I can hope they will pay him and we'll have a little extra cash for him to work on the playroom some more
Umm... nothing other than that, slowly buying xmas gifts, halloween, and trying to make a baby

Good luck with the baby making Beth! I think we have decided that we are done unless we have an opps baby before Rob gets the big V. we both are kind of on the fence about it. If one of us really wanted a third we would do it.

Hiii! Sorry I've been so MIA.. Just wanted to pop in and say hi!
Beth.. Good luck!
We've been staying at my parents.. Which is not fun. Trav is so hyper here all.the.time and does not want o listen to us, only his grammy. And there's four dogs here which is just chaotic. My house hasn't sold yet.. So we're stuck. We found a great house for rent nd we my just do a year lease so we can take the time to sell our home and get out of here! Needless to say, this hasn't been fun! I did get a job today though. I'm going to be working with an independent toy designer. Should be interesting..
And trav is loving preschool.
Miss you all. Opefully i can pop in more now!

Living with family is really hard. Hope your house sells soon!
Has anyone started xmas shopping yet? I got two things ordered, hopefully getting things slowly will absorb some of the money shock lol.

No Xmas shopping yet! Heck, I don't even know what we're giving Griff for his 1st bday at the end of the month! Any suggestions? Everything he plays with is Irelyn and Evan's toys and he doesn't really NEED anything but we still want to give him something of his own.
I have been wanting a 4th buuuut the way these kids have been acting lately I can't even imagine having another in the mix. Plus I have been thinking more about finances and how much more expensive they are as they get older. Who knows! Nothing we're deciding any time soon. We said we'd talk about it after Griff turns 1 but I can't believe that is THIS month, eek!
I've been super busy with school and a million projects between my sister's bridal shower and Griff's halloween birthday party. Can't wait for you guys to see pics once it's all said and done.
Kate, I would be dying living with family! I hope you can get your own place soon! Your new job sounds awesome!
I'm glad you'll have help when she gets her tubes in, Cara.
Beth, have a fun week with Rob off!

Oye... The weekends are the worst. Too many people in this house! And my dad has become the grumbly old man all of a sudden. Probably sick of us!
Jess.. I can't believe he's one! This year flew by! I bet his party is going to be cute. A Halloween birthday would be so much un.
We want another, but the kids are crazy right now and we need to be settled before we do anything! Plus, we just bought tickets to Vegas in march , our first kid free vaca and I refuse to be preggo!
Oh and I'm almost done Xmas shopping. I've never been and early shopper but in the summer target had huge toy markdowns and I got about $400 worth of toys for $150. So I have to pick up onw thing for Ts birthday and I'm getting the boys a bigger electric car for Christmas and I'm done. Feels good!

Jess, I got this toy for Alison and she loves it-
It is the PLAYSKOOL EXPLORE 'N GROW TUMBLE ‘N TWIRL TOP. It doesn't look like much but she loves it.
I hope you are in your own place soon Kate, that would be super hard.
I have some of my Christmas shopping done. I've been buying things here and there as I find deals. I also have some things left from last years deals. I think I am going to get Elizabeth one of those new Leap Pads. They look very fun and I know she will love it.
It felt like such a long weekend. I am beat! Alison had a really rough time today. Her ears were fine Friday but I almost wonder if she has an ear infection now. It could also be teething. It sounds like Rob is going to have a great assignment in Texas. They are already talking to him about extending. If he does he won't be home until November.

Yikes Cara! That will be a good long time away. Poor Alison. I am sure you are ready for the tubes to be in and her to start feeling better. Just be prepared for having to get the tubes placed more than once. My nephew had to have them in I believe 5 times before he outgrew the ear infections.
Good luck baby making Beth!
Jess I can't wait to see all the birthday stuff!
Kate I feel the misery. More than 2 years in living with Ryan's family and we are just done. Hopefully things will settle for both of us soon!
I have picked up some things for Christmas/Leila's birthday. I am hoping to have the bulk of it done by the end of this month though because it is going to get harder and harder to deal with the crowds, the hassle, and the walking. I may utilize online shopping even!

I'll have to look for that toy, Cara! Thanks!
Man, now I feel like a slacker in the holiday shopping dept. LOL!
Cara, I hope Rob doesn't have to be gone that long!
Today is a cold dreary day... we're going to put up Halloween decorations I think!

We haven't even started any holiday/birthday shopping...now with 2 kids having winter birthdays and christmas our family room is going to be a complete disaster with toys EVERYWHERE!!
Busy busy weekend...We left Saturday morning to go visit family. Got to my in-laws house dropped the kids off and ran to Ikea in Chicago to get a few things we forgot, stopped at another store on the way back from Ikea and got 4 dining room chairs. We finally got back to my in-laws around 7pm. Had a late dinner and got the kids off to bed. Sunday morning went to my dad's with the boys and my sister was there with her 7 month old, (got a few pic on FB of the boys) hung out for a bit. Went back to my in-laws hung out with them for awhile, packed up the car and made the 3 hour car ride back where Micah screamed the last hour of the drive....oye!! I'm still exhausted!!
My brother is going to Missouri for basic training then he's going to Georgia for air training until December 23rd (he wants to be a Ranger) He'll be home for 10 days then his destination is unknown after that at the moment.

Ugh, so I just called my insurance company to make sure the ENT that we saw will be covered and they said that as of August 1 of this year he is no longer a preferred provider. Soooo, back to page one. I'm waiting for a call from the lady at the pediatrician's office that does referrals so we can get another referral. I'm pretty ticked because I called the ENT's office before her appointment to make sure we were OK. I'm going to be really pissed when I get the bill for our worthless consult visit.
I'm also feeling a bit stressed about Rob being gone for so long, but I'll survive. We should be able to get the new truck that he wants after this trip so there is that.
I love IKEA Stacy! I could wander around that store forever.

I hate when that happens with doctors Cara. It was like that when I switched my gyn doc. I made the appointment, nobody said anything, then they ran my insurance card, and I had to switch hmos and it took 3 months! It was ridiculous.
Rob got A LOT done on the basement. I'll tag myself in some of his pictures so you guys can see the progress on FB.

How annoying Cara! I hope you can get an appointment soon.
I've done some holiday shopping. I hit up the same sale that Kate talked about at Target. A few other things to get yet.
I'm finding myself getting nervous with the refi. We didn't make our mortgage payment on the first so that freaks me out. We'll be fine I guess as long as we close before the end of the month and I have the payment in the savings account so I can make it if something happens. Just don't like the feeling so much, lol.
Soooooo Mark is applying for a job in Germany. I'm panic ridden already. LOL! There's a 50/50 chance of him getting it probably. We'll have to rent the house here out. I was worried about Alyssa's dad, but Mark and him talked about it last night I guess and all is good. He'll sign for her passport, but we have to fly her to see him every summer. Same as now, just more expensive. So we'll see. Hopefully we'll know by Thanksgiving.

Griffy's bday invites!!!
Kate, I decided to save the shirt you made for the special day!
I joined pinterest... eeeek, another thing to take up my time, LOL! I looooove it.
Germany could be fun, Cindy! I'd be a nervous wreck too though, but think of all that you can experience over there! A couple we know moved there like 6 mos ago and go on these great adventures almost every weekend, I get so jealous!

Love the invite! So cute!
Germany would be awesome, but it's stressful. I kinda think they won't medically clear me since I have the anxiety issue.

lol Cindy it's Germany, not the middle of Africa. I'm sure they have the same type of medicine and doctors we have here, over there
When my dad was in the army I remember him going to Germany and Hungary, and he brought back the coolest stuff. He still has a cuckoo clock from all those years ago, it's still awesome.
Almost all the framing is done in the playroom already!
The invite is super cool Jess!

Gosh I always miss so much when I dont get logged in!
Beth good luck with the baby making
Noah and I are probably waiting tell next year and then we will try if we are both good with it. The only thing really holding us back is Carsons temperment. But we have found that we just really have to be firm with him. If he acts out he gets a time out no warning. He was kinda walking all over us and we just needed to pull back control.
I started xmas shopping in July. Target had a bunch of clearance so I got a bunch fo stuff. I need to figure out the kids birthdays soon.
Cara I hate when that stuff happens with insurance. Actually I just hate insurance lol Sorry about Rob maybe being gone tell Nov thats a long time. Atleast he would be home in time for the holidays! I think we might plan a trip to Apple Hill. If we do we should totally meet up!
Cindy we just modified our mortgage on our other house and we didnt have to make a payment for Sept or Oct and it totally stressed me out!
I have a busy next few days at work which is nice
AND OMG JESS, you were joking!! Griff is SOO adorable!!
